Three-legged alligator struggles across lawn at Florida golf course and ends up beside woman’s porch

Three-legged alligator struggles across the green at a Florida golf course before taking a rest right next woman’s porch

  • Lori Greenberg of Bonita Springs captured a three-legged alligator on camera
  • It was crossing the lawn at Bonita National Golf Course and Country Club
  • As it struggled to make its way while missing a leg, it seemed to head toward her
  • Greenberg stopped filming but she got a picture of the alligator sidled up to her window, next to her porch before it eventually went on its way

Video shows a three-legged alligator slowly making its away across a golf course before sidling up to a Florida woman’s home.

Lori Greenberg recorded the reptile as it crawled through the grass at the Bonita National Golf Course and Country Club  in Bonita Springs on April 30.

It came to a stop right next to her window in a bed of mulch, providing the opportunity for Greenberg to snap a closeup of the creature.

The video shows the alligator off in the distance at first, struggling to make it across the lawn.

Because it’s missing it’s front left leg, every fourth step the gator has to plop its large body onto the ground in order to keep going.

After a moment, the alligator appears to direct its gaze in Greenberg’s direction.

‘Oh, my God, it’s coming right at me,’ Greenberg can be heard saying in the video.

Greenberg shared the video to Facebook, along with a photo of the alligator sidled up to her large window along her porch.

‘3 legged alligator coming to take a rest outside my lanai. Yikes!’ she wrote with the photo.

Greenberg told DailyMail.com that she left the gator alone, and it eventually moved along.
