Three teenagers fighting for life after their car crashes into a bus in horror motorway smash in breakdown zone

  • Emergency services were called to the site about 6.05pm on Sunday 
  • Three women are in a critical condition and fourth man is serious but stable 

Three teenage girls are struggling for life and another teenage man is in a serious but stable condition after their Mazda car crashed into a stationary bus.

The accident took place between Belmore Road and King Georges Road in Sydney on Sunday evening.

Emergency services released the 19-year-old female driver and an 18-year-old female rear passenger, who were trapped for a short-time.

Three teenage women are struggling for life and another teenage man is in a serious but stable condition after their Mazda car crashed into a stationary bus.

Police said a Mazda travelling east on the M5 crashed into the rear of a stationary bus in the breakdown area on the side of the road. 

NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated all four occupants treated at the scene before taking two women to Liverpool Hospital and the other two injured, including the 18-year-old man, to St George Hospital.

Police said the three women are in a critical condition and the man is in a serious but stable condition.

‘The driver of the bus was uninjured and there were no passengers on-board at the time.’
