The news comes just days after a six-year-old girl was attacked by two dogs in Woodridge, south of Brisbane, after climbing on a fence.

Emergency services were called to an Ormesby St property just after 4.30pm on Monday.

The child was rushed to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious condition after sustaining significant abdominal, chest and shoulder injuries.

It is understood she remains in a serious but stable condition.
