Tiger Woods leads celebrity turnout at World Series

Tiger Woods’ legal issues didn’t keep him from the World Series.

The 41-year-old golfer was snapped at Dodger Stadium Wednesday in Los Angeles to catch the second game of the Fall Classic between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros.

Tiger, who grew up about 30 miles from the famed ballpark in Cypress, California, blended in wearing a white ball-cap, a Dodgers jersey bearing Jackie Robinson’s number, grey shorts and blue Nike trainers.

It’s a busy week for Woods, who is headed to court to answer to his May 29 arrest in Jupiter, Florida in connection with DUI, reckless driving, and improper stopping.

He had been slated to plead guilty to reckless driving and start a pre-trial diversion program in a Palm Beach Circuit Court on Wednesday, but rescheduled the court date to take place on Friday.

The legendary golf pro isn’t expected to plead guilty to the driving under the influence charge, which has a much stiffer punishment attached to it.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s officials said that Woods’ toxicology report revealed numerous substances in his system at the time of his arrest, including painkillers, Xanax, sleeping medication and THC, a key component in marijuana.
