To make the dish, all you’ll need is a salmon fillet, some teriyaki sauce, sriracha, kewpie mayonnaise and soy sauce.

You’ll also want to get your hands on some avocado, a spring onion and sesame seeds for extra flavour, as well as an ice cube to make your rice fluffy and perfect.

‘I first of all marinated my salmon fillet in teriyaki sauce – the longer the better,’ Ayeh said.

‘Then, when this is done, add some extra sauce on the top and cook the salmon in an oven, pan or your air fryer.’

Depending on your device, this might take 5, 10 or 20 minutes.

Once your salmon is cooked, Ayeh said you need to remove the salmon from the oven or pan and mash it with a fork, adding your spring onion and sesame seeds to the top.

Ayeh used the ‘ice cube method’ to reheat her old rice, whereby she added an ice cube to the middle of cold rice and reheated it covered in parchment paper in the microwave.

The reason why this works is because the ice cube will not melt in the microwave but rather steam the rice perfectly.
