Tilly Ramsay makes it into grand final of Celebrity MasterChef Australia

Tilly Ramsay is so close to the Celebrity MasterChef Australia crown that she can almost taste it.

The daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay survived Monday night’s double elimination and will now compete in next week’s grand final.

She’s up against fellow finalists, fashion designer Collette Dinnigan, 56, and footballer Nick Riewoldt, 39, for the title of MasterChef and $100,000 [GBP £54,870] prize money to support their chosen charity.

The 20-year-old gave herself a near impossible task in creating a pasta dish that contained a runny egg yolk.

‘So I’m thinking of making spinach pasta with, like, a herb filling and an egg yolk. It’s gonna be a tough one because you’ve got to get a whole egg yolk into the middle of your pasta and cook it without it bursting,’ she said.

Tilly pulled it off, leaving the judges stunned when they cut through the pasta and found runny yolk inside.
