Tim Tebow reveals he says ‘Yes, babe’ to wedding planning ideas from Miss Universe fiancée

Tim Tebow and fiancée Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters are ironing out the final details of their wedding before they tie the knot.

The couple has posted photos of their planning including shopping for tuxedos and learning their first dance.

But the former Denver Broncos quarterback, 32, says he leaves it up to his bride-to-be when it comes to preparations for their big day.

‘Wedding planning has been great. It’s been so much fun planning the day and seeing it all come together,’ Tebow told Good Morning America.

‘We have some really unique moments that will be a part of it. But honestly, I just mostly say: ‘Yes, babe.”

Rumors are swirling that the couple plans to marry this weekend after they were spotted in Nel Peters’s hometown of Cape Town, South Africa.

Tebow says that he leaves most of the wedding planning up to Nel-Peters and just replies: 'Yes, babe'

On Saturday, Tebow shared a photo of him wearing just a tuxedo vest and no dress shirt with the caption: ‘Wedding outfit. What do y’all think?’

His fiancée posted a photo back in September of their first ‘first dance’ lesson, writing: ‘Getting better… step by step (Ps: Tim was clearly taking it seriously by the look of his shirt.’

Tebow and Nel-Peters – who was Miss Universe 2017 – have also set up a registry on wedding planning website The Knot ahead of their ceremony.

The registry features several items for hosting including an eight-wine glass set from Schott Zwiesel for $99.95, a Williams Sonoma Kitchen Tool set for $199.95 and an 18-inch kettle charcoal grill for $129.95.

‘We added an open fire grill – Demi is South African and absolutely loves BBQ,’ Tebow told The Knot in an interview.

‘[In addition to] fine china for hosting friends and family and an espresso coffee machine.’

Nel-Peters said many of the kitchen items will be to make a family recipe.

‘One of my all-time favorite dishes my dad makes is oxtail with vegetables,’ she said in a statement, according to Good Morning America.

‘Tim got to try it for the first time last Christmas and was instantly sold, which is why we’ve registered for things like a charcoal grill, cutting boards and upgraded kitchen tools.’

They’ve also added an option that allows guests to donate to their honeymoon fund, although the couple hasn’t stated where they will be going – except that it will be a warm destination.

Another option for guests, in lieu of gifts, is to donate to the Tim Tebow Foundation, a children’s charity.

‘Tim and I feel so fortunate that we’re able to celebrate our love with our family and friends in just a few short weeks,’ Nel-Peters told The Knot.

‘This is a cause that has been such a big part of Tim’s life (and now mine) for years, and we’d love nothing more than to support those in need during this special and momentous time.

‘Additionally, the Tim Tebow Foundation has a unique place in our hearts, because… it’s what brought us together.’

The couple met in 2018, when Nel-Peters’s younger sister, who has special needs nad has since passed away, was invited the the foundation’s yearly prom, which is hosted in multiple countries every year.

The pair got engaged in January 2019, with Tebow sharing several photos, including one of him down on one knee.
