‘Time to explore all that I missed’: David Haye admits he’s having a ‘mid life crisis’

David Haye has admitted that he may be having a ‘midlife crisis’ as he posed with a group of bikini clad women while on holiday in the Caribbean on Tuesday.

The former boxer, 42, has been letting his hair down on a sunshine break and shared an impassioned post about ‘exploring all that he has missed’ as he moves into the next phase of his life.

It comes after Una Healy confirmed that she was single this week after it emerged that she had called time on her alleged ‘throuple’ with David and model Sian Osborne.

In his latest update David said he was being ‘drawn to new experiences and seeking out the unknown’.

He penned as he posed with groups of women and Sian: ‘As I enter the next phase of my life, I find myself drawn to new experiences and seeking out the unknown.

‘In this instance, I have found myself on the idyllic Caribbean island of Saint Martin, a place of tranquil beauty, where half of the island is French and the other half Dutch.

‘It has been an invigorating experience, and the people here have been nothing but welcoming, respectful, and kind.’

One fan then asked in the comments if he was having a ‘midlife crisis’ to which he responded: ‘Maybe so mate. All those years of dedication to my sport, time to explore all that I missed. I can’t fit in a Ferrari, so a festivals it is!’

It comes after Una confirmed that she was single this week after it emerged that she had called time on her alleged ‘throuple’ with David and model Sian.

Afterwards David appeared to have made a swipe at the singer with a cryptic Instagram post.

Suggesting that he was looking for a replacement for her in his couple, he referenced an ‘opening’ in his team.

The post featured a snap of the sportsman with girlfriend Sian, 35, and three other women while partying at the SXM Festival in Saint Martin.

It seemed David was hinting that he and Sian could find someone to take Una’s place during their time at the festival.

Alluding to Una’s alleged ending of their ‘throuple’, he penned: ‘We experienced an unexpected opening in our team, but the invigorating atmosphere at the @sxmfestival ensures that we’ll soon have a full roster.’

While the former Saturdays singer, 41, confirmed this week that she is single following weeks of speculation surrounding her love life.

Rumours began after Una was pictured holidaying in Marrakech with former boxer David and his model girlfriend Sian back in January.

It’s understood that David and Sian, who he started dating in 2020, drafted Una into a three-way romance before Una is said to have ended the ‘throuple’.

Now, Una has confirmed that she is single and is focusing on parenting her two kids Aoife, ten, and Tadhg, eight, who she shares with ex-husband Ben Foden.

She told The Irish Mirror: ‘I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job.

‘I am a single parent, I don’t like the term single mother as it has negative connotations.

‘You can’t do it all by yourself, there is no shame in asking for help, be that from childcare, family or friends.’

Una went on to say that she is often asked how she juggles being a single parent but pointed out that men are rarely ever asked how they do the same, saying mothers don’t have a choice.

The Irish star cuddled her new puppy Charlie, whom she adopted last month after her unconventional relationship was said to have come to an abrupt end.

In what seemed to be a cryptic dig at David and his girlfriend Sian, Una wrote ‘unconditional love’.

Una is said to have ended her unconventional relationship with David and his long-term girlfriend after ‘growing tired of the negative attention’ it generated.

She surprised fans after she was pictured holidaying in Marrakech with David and Sian, his girlfriend of three years, in January.

It’s understood the retired heavyweight and Sian – who he started dating in 2020 – drafted Una into a three-way romance before Christmas.

But she is said to have ended the short-lived throuple after photos of the Moroccan getaway – widely shared across Instagram – generated a flurry of inevitable headlines.

A source told OK!: ‘She just didn’t think it was worth it in the end. It went from something fun into a big media frenzy and everyone seemed to be talking about it.’

Davide and Sian have since jetted off without Una and have wasted little time in documenting their latest overseas trip on social media, with some of their posts featuring another female friend.

Meanwhile, Una has removed all traces of the former boxer from her own social media accounts.

A source told The Sun: ‘Una is taking time out from the situation because it is a bit of a head spin. Her kids are always her number one priority.

‘There are complicated feelings at play, with [David and Sian] being away together without her. So Un is just focusing on herself and her family.’

Una sent fans into a frenzy as she shared a new photo to Instagram just one day after removing David’s presence from her Instagram grid.

The hitmaker had previously posted pictures of herself, Sian and David, along with separate photos that appeared to exclude his model girlfriend.

But the photos and all other previous snaps have since been wiped from her social media.

The first picture she had posted of the throuple on New Year’s has vanished. It had said: ‘I’ve started 2023 in a comfortable place, feeling genuinely happy and at peace. Here’s to this year being ours x.’

She failed to mention why she had removed him from her social media but instead teased new music for the first time since the release of her debut solo album in 2017.

It came after David appeared to confirm he was in a ‘throuple’ with Una and Sian as he sent them both Valentine’s Day messages last month.

He took to Instagram to share a shirtless picture of himself as he posed on the beach with a bikini-clad Una and Sian standing arm-in-arm with him on either side.

He wrote: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day to the beautiful Queens in my life, making my world a better place to live in!’

Una hinted at the three-way relationship on her Instagram, sharing a cartoon of a glass of orange alongside two slices of an orange, with the caption: ‘I’d be nothing without you!’

In February, David refused to answer questions about his relationship status after arriving at the Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith fight, insisting he would be keeping it ‘private’.

He said: ‘I like to keep my private life private. I let people in through my social media a little bit, but what I do behind closed doors is between me and the girls involved.’
