Controversial footy player Todd Carney has announced the release of his tell-all autobiography, Hard Truth.
The book will document the disgraced NRL star’s various scandals over the years, while offering a ‘raw and honest’ account of his troubled life.
From a family tragedy to his ‘toxic relationship’ with alcohol, nothing will be off limits, according to publishers Allen & Unwin.

Hard Truth will also focus on how Todd’s ‘career was brought crashing down’ in 2014 due to the infamous ‘bubbler’ scandal.
Five years ago, a leaked photo of Todd urinating in his own mouth in a public toilet was leaked online and went viral across the world.
In February, Todd revealed he was still haunted by his actions, and said that people still confront him about it in public bathrooms.

Speaking to Nine, Todd said: ‘People try and do it next to me in the toilets. I actually sometimes get nervous to go to the toilet in case there is a big crowd in there.’
He maintains that the photo, which spread like wildfire when it was first posted to social media, was taken and shared without his knowledge.
‘I just don’t understand why people are still so fascinated by it,’ Todd added to Seven News. ‘I know it was stupid, and I’ll live with it for the rest of my life.’

Speaking of the book, Todd said on Monday night via Instagram that it will have ‘the real story behind the headlines from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.’
It is expected he will also discuss Married At First Sight star Susie Bradley in the book, who he found love with earlier this year.
Hard Truth will be released across Australia on August 19
