A three-year-old girl in a pram was hit by a truck and pushed along the road for 15 meters in a horrific crash on Friday morning.

The crash happened in Northmead, western Sydney while the girl’s mother was waiting to cross the road at a busy intersection.

Paramedics found the girl unconscious and stabilised her before she was flown to hospital by helicopter.

Dramatic pictures from the scene showed the truck mounted on the curb and the child’s pram lying sideways on the ground while medics helped the toddler.
