This is the strange moment toilet paper melts and burns as sulfuric acid is poured over it.

The bizarre experiment was carried out in the Dobrovelychkivs’kyi district of Ukraine on July 20.

A warning appears on screen before the video starts, saying that the experiment was carried out by professionals and should not be repeated at home or anywhere else.

A white toilet roll is in the middle of a plate when a person wearing a green glove starts pouring acid on it.

At first, the paper appears simply soggy as it absorbs the yellow liquid.

As the acid’s effect kicks in, however, the toilet paper becomes darker and starts decomposing.

The liquid spreads all over the plate

The top part becomes black first

Only a few parts of the roll remain white as the paper starts bubbling quickly.

The top side of the paper becomes black and the effect of the acid then extends to the whole roll.

The liquid spreads all over the plate as the paper keeps burning.

Once it stops bubbling and it is completely black, the person who poured the acid on the toilet roll films the result of the experiment.

They then take a knife and cut the burned paper in pieces.

The inside still shows some white rests, but overall it is completely burned.
