Tom Gleisner throws serious shade at this year’s Bachelor contestants

The celebrities on Channel Ten’s game show Have You Been Paying Attention? often shock with their quick-witted and often-biting remarks.

But on Monday night, host Tom Gleisner had the contestants momentarily speechless for throwing serious shade at this year’s Bachelor contestants.

Tom, 56, took aim at the network’s popular dating show as he introduced a quiz segment about the reality series featuring Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins.

Network Ten won’t be happy! Tom Gleisner throws serious shade at this year’s Bachelor contestants on Have You Been Paying Attention? – and you won’t believe what he said

‘It is The Bachelor time! Or as we like to call it here – Skank Tank!’ the host said with a straight face.

The five guests sitting at their individual podiums were taken aback by the comment briefly before clapping and giggling to each other over the jab.

When Tom continued by asking, ‘on Wednesday, Brittany got this season’s first what?’, Ed Kavalee responded with another harsh remark: ‘an STD?’

In 2016, host Tom told News.com.au that the show was filmed on Sundays before airing to the public on Monday.

‘One of the reasons we prerecord is obviously for legal reasons, but also occasionally because the guys have a habit of saying things that they know will never make it into the show but it’s as much for my benefit as any ones,’ he said at the time.

It’s unsure whether the joke about The Bachelor contestants was pre-approved by Channel Ten.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel Ten for comment.
