Tom Hanks and his wife of 34 years, Rita Wilson, were spotted out in New York City on Thursday evening as the two were headed to dinner.
The Elvis actor, 66, and the Sleepless In Seattle star, 65, both donned simple and causal ensembles for their weeknight outing.
The couple appeared to be in high spirits and affectionately held hands as they enjoyed time together amid the actor’s busy schedule and upcoming projects.

Tom kept his look stylish and comfortable for walking around in the big apple. He donned a plain, dark navy T-shirt with short-sleeves to stay cool in the warmer weather.
He added a pair of black pants, along with low-ankle black boots to complete his overall ensemble.
The Forrest Gump star added a dark blue Yankees baseball cap and a silver watch on his wrist to keep track of time.

Rita color-coordinated with her husband’s outfit, and wore a dark navy, satin tank top.
She also wore a pair of blue pants which were secured with a black Gucci belt at the waist.
To stay comfortable during their walk, she wore flat, open-toed sandals. To accessorize her date night look, the star wore large, gold-hooped earrings along with a long light blue, beaded necklace.
A cross-body black purse was slung over her shoulder to hold a few necessary items.
The couple seemed to be enjoying their evening, and were seen often holding hands as they walked to dinner.

Tom and Rita first met in 1981, on the set of the ABC sitcom, Bosom Buddies. Four years later, the two actors crossed paths yet again on the set of Volunteers in 1985.
The couple officially went public with their relationship in 1986, and tied the knot two years later in 1988. The lovebirds share two sons, Chet and Truman Hanks.
Tom has two other children from his first marriage to Samantha Lewes, Colin and Elizabeth Hanks. Colin has appeared in a strew of successful projects, such as The O.C., King Kong, The House Bunny, and Fargo.
Rita opened up to Us Weekly about their long-lasting marriage over the years. ‘We got married, we committed to each other, we love each other and we work hard at our relationship,’ she stated.
‘Not only do we love each other, we really like each other, and we like being together, and we support each other and we keep the communication channels open. That’s always important.’

Both Tom and Austin Butler, who played the titular role of Elvis, will re-unite on the screen once again in the upcoming World War II drama, Masters Of The Air. The miniseries is set to stream on Apple TV+.
The critically acclaimed actor has a list of other projects marked on his schedule, including the live-action adaptation of Pinocchio, and Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, which is set to star Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton.
