Tom Holland stops by Sony’s CES presentation to unveil a new clip from his Uncharted

Tom Holland is ringing in the new year in Las Vegas, putting in an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to promote his new movie Uncharted.

The 25-year-old actor took to the stage at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on Tuesday afternoon, with Sony Pictures Entertainment Tom Rothman.

They both discussed the making of the video game adaptation, in theaters February 18 and unveiled a new clip from the movie.

Holland stepped out in a black t-shirt under a sharp grey suit coat for his appearance at the annual tech convention.

He was wearing stylish glasses as well with matching grey pants and black dress shoes for his appearance. 

He and Rothman unveiled an action-packed clip from the film that was partially teased in the trailers, involving an unusual exit from a cargo plane.

The clip features Nathan Drake (Holland) threatening Braddock (Tati Gabrielle) with releasing a large pallet of cargo.

She calls her men off when Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) comes out from behind the pallet as both men pull parachutes as Victor goes flying out of the plane along with a pallet.

Nathan goes to hide when another pallet takes out another gun-toting baddie, as more and more pallets are released.

Victor: She calls her men off when Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) comes out from behind the pallet as both men pull parachutes as Victor goes flying out of the plane along with a pallet

The only problem with that for Nathan is his foot gets caught in one of the cargo nets and he goes flying out of the plane as well… along with a string of pallets.

They bring out Chloe (Sophia Ali) as a ‘loose end’ but Chloe attacks and shoots two more men out of the plane.

Meanwhile, Nathan gets himself free as he goes flying back before grabbing onto another cargo net.

Stuck: The only problem with that for Nathan is his foot gets caught in one of the cargo nets and he goes flying out of the plane as well… along with a string of pallets

Chloe: They bring out Chloe (Sophia Ali) as a ‘loose end’ but Chloe attacks and shoots two more men out of the plane

On the plane, Chloe and Nati get into a gunfight, as Nathan gets shot at while hanging from the pallets.

The last man chasing Nathan on the pallets is taken out and Nathan finally gets back on the plane… as Chloe takes off driving off the plane, taking Nathan off the plane, hurtling through the air towards the ground as the clip comes to an end. 

Holland also spoke about the film during the presentation, revealing he hopes the audience appreciates all the work that went into it.

Pallets: The last man chasing Nathan on the pallets is taken out and Nathan finally gets back on the plane… as Chloe takes off driving off the plane, taking Nathan off the plane, hurtling through the air towards the ground as the clip comes to an end

‘We created a film that has a lot of heart, that pays respect to the games, but also gives fans and people that love the games something new and something refreshing,” said Holland. 

‘It’s interesting in these big action movies, I often find that the heart and soul of the movie can be lost in the action. But what’s so nice about our movie is you have this very tangible relationship between Nate and [his mentor] Sully [played by Mark Wahlberg], which is really the heart of the movie,’ he added.

‘It’s about a young orphan looking for his family and in turn finding a family in the most sort of unorthodox way,’ Holland continued.
