Tourist in Thailand gets kicked in the head after an argument with taxi-bike drivers and police

A tourist has been viciously attacked in Thailand following an argument with taxi-bike drivers and police.

In a video shared to social media a man attempted to move a bike while a group of men yelled at him.

The tourist then tried to slam the bike wheel on the foot of one man who tried to get his attention.

An altercation began when one man tried to grab the handle of the motorcycle.

The German tourist slapped the mans hand away before he made a fist with his hand and knocked the hand away again.

Police tried to console the man.

The tourist continued down the road before he picked the bike up so it sat on the rear wheel.

The man almost dropped the bike and he leaned over to right the bike.

That is when he is kicked in the head by a taxi-bike driver.

The tourist was wearing a helmet but was also hit with the driver’s fist and shoved him.

The tourist is pushed out of the way as he gripped his head and yet another man picked the bike up and walked away.

The 48-year-old who kicked the tourist on Beach road in Pattaya was fined 1,000 Baht and made a public apology for the the assault on the tourist, according to Bangkok Post. This roughly equates to $42.
