Both of their posts were soon flooded with supportive messages from their fans and celebrity pals.

The happy time is in stark contrast to the last scan as Georgia revealed she burst into tears when she was told by midwives that her baby’s belly is ‘slightly bigger than normal’.

The reality star took to Instagram to reflect on the unexpected news she and boyfriend Tommy received, as she said she will now have to have diabetic tests.

Speaking candidly about her hospital visit, Georgia told fans: ‘It was good but I did have a panic when they said to me the baby’s belly was slightly bigger than normal so now I have to go for a diabetic blood test.

‘I don’t think I have it but they said just to make sure, any midwives out there watching can you please DM me because I don’t really know much about it.

‘But, yea, everything else is fine, the baby is healthy. I just think I have got a big baby, I was quite big and I think Tommy was too. You know when you hear something and you’re like what and it freaked me out.’

Detailing her emotions, Georgia went on: ‘I literally cried because I panicked because I didn’t know what it meant, you know when you just get overwhelmed and you’re like what does that mean?

‘It’s just scary being a first time mum, you literally don’t know anything, or I don’t anyway. Any little thing I’m like “what does that mean? Is it what I’m eating? Have I caused this?”

‘But they reassured me that its not what I caused, it can just happen in pregnancies, its quite common. And then I’ve researched it and placenta causes it, so that makes me feel better I don’t think it’s about me.

‘So, yea, any little tips would be great, any reassurance of what I’m doing. I thought it would be good to share it step by step, and then I can get tips, and if anyone else had the same emotions today as me it’s normal.’

The couple announced they are expecting their first baby together in December, but told their co-stars in emotional scenes aired in the festive special.

In an Instagram video following their big reveal, Georgia explained why, for months, she and Tommy kept their pregnancy news a secret, saying: ‘No-one knew. Literally like four people in production knew because I had to tell them, obviously, because we had to plan the scene.

‘None of my friends knew, Chloe Sims, no one knew. I literally kept it to myself – me and Tommy – because I wanted a real-life reaction.

‘The reason we did it on the show was because we met on the show and we just feel like… You guys have been there with us from the start. You’ve seen our first date so it just felt so right doing it there. It was the best thing!’
