A transgender escort, who identifies as a woman, has been charged for allegedly plotting to murder her friend’s ex boyfriend with a fatal dose of liquid ecstasy.

Marissa Tofield, 27, and Claire Dawson, 28, were arrested on Friday after a month-long investigation by police and each charged with one count of conspiracy to murder.

The pair were allegedly hatching plans to fatally drug the older woman’s former partner Raimondo Corak-Phan, 30, and were allegedly caught in a phone-tapped conversation.

Ms Tofield appeared in a Parramatta court on Saturday seeking bail and told the court she did not want to kill anyone.

‘It was a conversation I had while on amphetamines,’ she said.

The Glebe woman, who describes herself as an ‘entertainer’ and ‘entrepreneur’ on social media, was refused bail, while Ms Dawson did not apply, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Both women are due to appear at Central Local Court on January 16.

Police raided the women’s apartments at 6.30am on Friday, uncovering cannabis, methylamphetamine, mobile phones, laptops and documents.

The court heard 15ml of GHB, which is a potentially fatal dose, was found in Ms Tofield’s home.

Ms Tofield’s lawyer argued she should receive bail as she would miss a scheduled gender reassignment surgery if kept behind bars.

But Acting Magistrate John Bailey was not convinced and told the court the surgery was ‘elective’ and ‘not urgent’.

The magistrate noted she had a terrible prior record for not turning up to court when required.

‘I have not a lot of confidence that she will turn up,’ he told the court.

Upon being refused bail, Ms Tofield pleaded with the judge to reconsider and said she would never harm any one.

‘I will neck myself if get locked up … If you lock me up I will kill myself, it will be on you.’

Magistrate Bailey placed Ms Tofield on suicide watch.

Mr Corak-Phan is currently behind bars after his bail was refused as he faces unrelated charges.
