Channel Nine Travel Guides cowgirl Stacey ‘Stack’ Wilburn has shared her heartache after her family home burned down in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 32-year-old, who became a household name on the show alongside her identical twin sister Mel, confirmed the news on the pair’s joint Instagram page on Tuesday.

‘Stack here! Can’t beat this for a s**t start to the year,’ she wrote, alongside an image of the property, in Upper Horton, New South Wales, up in flames.

‘In the Early hours of Sunday morning everything we owned – my partner and the kids – lost everything in a house fire that left only ashes.

‘We are all safe and no lives lost just a reminder to everyone check your smoke alarms!’

She concluded by saying that although she’s lost all of her belongings, she’s thankful that the family have each other ‘and the clothes that were on the clothes line’.

Her sister Mel posted a GoFundMe page online, hoping to raise $10,000 for the family and help them get back on their feet.

Almost $8,000 has been raised as of Wednesday.

‘If you could please help in anyway would be greatly appreciated, I aim to be able to replace their Christmas presents, cowboy boots and clothing – they have lost everything,’ Mel wrote.

‘With everyone’s overwhelming offers of support I thought this would be the best way that I can ensure they get exactly what they need.’

Mel told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday that the family are unsure how the fire broke out as of yet.

‘We would really like to thank everyone for their kind words and donations – we really do live in a beautiful country,’ she said.

She added that Stacks was taking things ‘one day at a time’ and trying her best to explain the situation to her two children.
