Police in New Hampshire have confirmed a trespasser who bears a striking resemblance to Eminem is not actually the rapper.

The Rochester Police Department posted surveillance images last Thursday of a male suspect who appears as though he could be Eminem’s twin brother.

In an updated statement, the department said they have learned the man’s real identity – but did not release further information on it.

‘UPDATE: The subject has been identified, and we can confirm it is NOT Marshall Mathers,’ police said in a Facebook statement.

‘Officer Robinson is looking to identify this male in regards to a criminal trespassing case.’
