The trial of a Chinese real estate scion who posted a record $35 million bail after being charged with orchestrating the 2016 murder of her children’s father has been delayed.

Tiffany Li, 31, faced San Mateo County District Court in California on Thursday for what was supposed to be the first day of her trial.

However, Judge Robert Foiles decided to delay the start of the trial until next week without giving a reason.

It is the second time her trial has been delayed after initially being postponed when Li was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer last September.

Her attorneys said Li was now in remission having undergone surgery and chemotherapy, CBS reports.

Li has been on house arrest in her mansion ever since her wealthy family, who made millions operating Chinese construction projects, helped her post the unprecedented bail.

She is charged with orchestrating the murder of 27-year-old Keith Green who is the father of her children.

Prosecutors have said Li feared losing custody of her two daughters and directed her boyfriend, Kaveh Bayat, and friend, Oliver Adella, to kill Green.

Li and Green had an acrimonious split in October 2015 after Green discovered Li’s relationship with Bayat.

She kicked Green out of the multi-million dollar home they shared with their two children.

Bayat remains jailed on $35 million bail.

Adella, who ended up driving Green’s body, agreed to a plea deal and is expected to testify during the trial.

Green’s body was found along a dirt road in Sonoma County with a bullet wound to his neck nearly two weeks after he had been last seen meeting with Li at a restaurant to discuss custody of their children.

Li and the two men were arrested shortly after Green’s body was found.

Li was released from custody in 2017 after family, friends and her mother’s business associates raised $4 million cash and pledged their San Francisco properties worth a combined $62 million to post her bail.

She was required to turn over her passport as part of her bail conditions.
