Tried and tested: Can I really wear…a jumpsuit?
Can I really wear…a jumpsuit?
Of course you can. In fact, you must! Why? Because the jumpsuit really is a style staple. Not only was it acceptable attire at Meghan and Harry’s wedding and is now stocked in every high-street shop – even trusty Marks & Spencer currently has 12 on offer – but it also suits all ages and sizes.
It works for both off-duty and the office – you just need to pick the right look for you. A lot of jumpsuits come with a detachable fabric belt that you can cinch in to emphasise your waist or replace with your own to dress up or down.
As for fit, avoid anything tight – loosely cut styles with wide legs are on trend and much more flattering. If you are worried about your bottom being on show, a style with back pockets, such as the MiH Jeans one below, can be surprisingly slimming.
And colour? Stick to a one-shade neutral – you don’t want any print worries coming into the equation just yet. And that’s it! Here are the three we’re loving right now…
