And Troy Delmege admitted he did demand producers to make it ‘worth his while’ before he would agree to chat to hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
The IT manager, 35, brazenly declared he would only ‘consider’ doing an interview if he was given a paycheck – a move that prompted Kyle to brand him an ‘idiot’.

Troy was asked to address the claims during a game of ‘Troy or False’ while appearing on Nova 96.9’s Fitzy and Wippa.
He confessed: ‘I said “When the show [Married At First Sight] does finish, if you make it worth my while I might consider coming on”.’
And the goofball groom caused further outrage as he appeared to call a KIIS FM employee a ‘low-level producer’ who ‘hounded’ him for weeks for an interview.
‘I was told not to do it, to actually get me on the show you had to go through Channel Nine, and they were saying no to everything,’ he claimed.
‘I was solicited by one low-level radio producer from one of the other radio programmes out there and they hounded me for weeks and weeks and weeks.
‘I said “I can’t do it, I can’t do it, I’m not allowed”.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted a Channel Nine representative for comment.
Kyle and Jackie claimed last week that Troy refused to appear on the show unless he was paid, during an interview with MAFS couple John and Melissa.
‘Troy won’t come on!’ said Jackie, as the Sydney breakfast radio hosts wrapped up their interview with John and Melissa.
Kyle added: ‘Troy’s turned into an idiot and now wants to be paid to come on – we told him to shove it in his a**e! Who does he think he is? Madonna or something?’
