The wife of a lawyer tasked with monitoring ethics in President Donald Trump’s business organization has been arrested after she was allegedly caught having sex with a prison inmate.

Teresa Jo Burchfield, 53, was allegedly caught in the backseat of her car with the 23-year-old inmate opposite the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center in Virginia on Tuesday.

Police said the pair were having sex when they were busted.

The inmate was allegedly found with cigarettes, clothes, vitamin supplements and other contraband items that had been given to him by Burchfield, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Fauquier Times.

The inmate allegedly told officers the pair had been having sex and that he had been meeting with Burchfield for about a month.

Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office would not identify the inmate or elaborate on his connection to Burchfield.

The inmate, who was on trustee status, had been jailed on minimal charges and was authorized to work inside and outside the jail and the sheriff’s office facilities.
