Donald Trump Jr blasted The View host Sunny Hostin by asking ‘what it’s like’ to be paid by a network that ‘protected pedophile-rapist Jeffrey Epstein.’
Their fiery exchange came days after the two went head to head on the ABC daytime show View where Trump Jr defended his decision to tweet the name of the now-famous Ukrainian whistle-blower.
The shouting match that ensued included sections of the live studio audience booing loudly, leading co-host Whoopi Goldberg to vent during a commercial break.
Co -host Hostin suggested that Trump Jr. committed a ‘federal crime’ for disclosing the name.

Hostin asked Trump’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor on the show, ‘Did you advise your boyfriend that it is a federal crime to out a whistle-blower?’
‘It’s only a federal crime for the IG [Inspector General] to do it,’ Trump Jr. shot back. ‘That’s a lie.’
Trump Jr. on Wednesday tweeted a link to an article published on the Breitbart news website, which named a man in a headline that the online outlet believes is the whistle-blower – a CIA analyst who launched a congressional impeachment inquiry over a phone call between President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart.
He said Thursday that as a ‘private citizen’ he is not breaking any law by releasing the name.
But the 41-year-old took a swipe at liberal TV personality by sharing an article refuting Hostin’s claims.
‘Not sure where The View’s @Sunny got her law degree from, but she should think about asking for a refund,’ Trump Jr. fired back on Friday.
Hostin is a lawyer and is also the senior legal correspondent for ABC News, as well as a host on The View.
Hostin then responded by sharing a link to an article which referenced a judge’s decision to order Trump to pay $2 miliion in damages after his his foundation was found to have engaged in ‘illegal political coordination with the Trump campaign’ during the 2016 election.
The president also admitted ‘that he used Foundation funds to settle legal obligations of companies he controlled, and that the Foundation paid for a portrait of Mr. Trump that cost $10,000.’
In her response, Hostin claimed: ‘Did you also think what you did at the Trump Foundation was legal? @DonaldJTrumpJr.’

However the exchange got even more heated when convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was brought up by Trump Jr.
He wrote back to Hostin: ‘What’s it like to draw a paycheck from a network that not only protected pedophile-rapist Jeffery Epstein, but then retaliated against the courageous female whistleblower by pressuring CBS to fire her?,’ Trump Jr. asked.
That attack referred to the growing controversy involving ABC News and anchor Amy Robach’s claim that the network killed the Jeffrey Epstein story three years ago.
Created in 1997 by veteran journalist Barbara Walters, The View is a daytime talk show hosted by women and is aired on ABC.
On Tuesday, Project Veritas published a video it obtained of Amy Robach in a discussion with her producer about the nixed story back in August, venting: ‘I’ve had this interview for years. I’ve had this interview with Virginia Roberts. We would not put it on the air.’
The 46-year-old was referring to Jeffrey Epstein’s underage sex slave who accused the pedophile of lending her out for sex with his friends, including Prince Andrew.
Robach said ABC didn’t let the story go to air because the palace threatened to sue the network and there were concerns Prince William and Kate Middleton would no longer grant ABC any interviews.

There has been a good deal of backlash against ABC ever since the video first emerged, with many people pointing out that none of the network’s news programs have mentioned the story.
The producer who was fired for ‘leaking’ ABC News anchor Amy Robach’s hot mic revelation that the network killed off her Jeffrey Epstein story has claimed she is innocent during an interview with Megyn Kelly.
DailyMail.com had revealed the former staffer in question is Ashley Bianco, 25, an Emmy-winning producer for CBS This Morning, who was fired on Thursday after the network was informed by her old employer ABC that she had ‘leaked’ the footage.
But Bianco tearfully told Kelly on Friday she had only saved the clip when she watched from her desk as Robach ranted about ABC killing her story back in August.
Right before the interview dropped, Project Veritas, which first published the bombshell tape, released a statement from who they claim is the actual ABC whistleblower, backing up Bianco’s claims that she is innocent.
She added she has never spoken to James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, saying: ‘I didn’t even know who he was until this week… I’ve never communicated with anyone over there.

ABC News responded by claiming that Robach’s Epstein story was not fit to air.
The network told Fox News: ‘At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story.
‘Ever since, we’ve had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it. That work has led to a two-hour documentary and six-part podcast that will air in the new year.’
CBS is also facing backlash for firing Bianco after ABC informed its counterparts at the network that Bianco was responsible for the leak and was now working for their news division, according to journalist Yashar Ali.
The hot mic video was also recorded just two months after ABC News president James Goldston was pictured dining with Prince Charles and President Trump at Winfield House during the administration’s state visit to London back in June.
