Donald Trump has taken aim at Taylor Swift – saying that she is being ‘disloyal’ to the man who made her so much money, while branding Travis Kelce a ‘liberal.’
The Republican hopeful, 77, said that it was his lawmaking that allowed popstar Taylor propel to stratospheric fame and success – not ‘crooked’ Joe Biden.
Trump said there’s ‘no way’ she can endorse Democrat Biden ahead of the election. Swift, while steering clear from mainstream politics, vowed to kick Trump out of the White House during the last election – and announced she votes Democrat.
However, Trump’s message wasn’t all doom and gloom for Swift and her Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend Kelce – as he announced ‘I like her boyfriend, Travis.’

Trump wrote on Truth Social on the day of the Super Bowl: ‘I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists.
‘Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will.
‘There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.
‘Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!’
The Music Modernization Act was legislation signed into law on October 11, 2018 which modernized copyright-related issues within the music industry.
After executive Scooter Braun bought Big Machine Records in 2019 and took ownership over Swift’s masters, she took the savvy initiative to re-record her first six studio albums to undermine the value of her early music now in Braun’s possession.
Enabled by quirks in the copyright licensing system, Swift was able to regain ownership over her lyrics, voice, and albums with the re-records – using the old titles of her songs with the suffix stamp of approval ‘Taylor’s Version.’
Taylor, who raked in over a billion dollars during her Eras Tour last year, started dating Kelce in the late summer, and has jetted to Las Vegas from her concert in Japan to watch his Super Bowl on Sunday.
The Chiefs are facing the San Francisco 49ers this evening.
This comes after Trump allegedly told aides that it doesn’t matter if Taylor Swift endorses Joe Biden – because he is ‘more popular’ than she is anyway.
The 77-year-old was commenting on reports that the pop megastar was preparing to endorse Biden, and that Biden’s campaign were desperate for her to appear on stage with the president at a rally. Swift endorsed Biden in 2020.
He is said to believe that even the pop megastar will fail to deprive him of a win in November, despite Dems hoping Swift could dramatically-sway the vote.
The New York Times reported that Swift is a key name on Biden aides’ ‘wish lists of potential surrogates.’
Trump also, according to Rolling Stone, said that it was wrong that Swift was named as Time magazine’s person of the year in December 2023, because the accolade should ‘obviously’ have gone to him.

Swift’s political clout is sought after by all sides, but for years she remained avowedly neutral.
Born in Pennsylvania but moving to Nashville as a young girl to pursue music, she was initially loathe to say anything that would alienate her traditionally Republican country music fanbase.
But in 2018, she spoke out against Republican senator Marsha Blackburn, saying her voting record ‘appalls and terrifies me.’
Trump – who in 2012 called her ‘fantastic’ and ‘terrific’ – was angered by Swift’s remarks.
‘You know, Marsha Blackburn is doing a very good job in Tennessee, she’s leading now substantially,’ Trump said. ‘She’s a tremendous woman.
‘I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about her. And let’s say that I like Taylor’s music about 25 percent less now.’
Swift then backed Biden, and last year, a single Instagram post of hers led to 35,000 new voter registrations.
A poll this month from Redfield & Wilton Strategies showed 18 percent of voters said they’re ‘more likely’ or ‘significantly likely’ to vote for a candidate endorsed by Swift.
