Trump ‘wanted to FIRE special counsel  Robert Mueller’

President Trump wanted to fire special counsel Robert Mueller in June, according to a report.

He told White House counsel he wanted the overseer of the Russia investigation out, but they said they would rather resign then carry out his orders, the New York Times reported.

It is the first time Trump is believed to have tried to oust Mueller since the beginning of the probe into meddling in the election.

Mueller’s investigators are currently interviewing high-end members of the Trump administration.
