Tulisa offers to be her neighbours’ ‘personal assistant’

Tulisa offers to be her neighbours’ ‘personal assistant’ with sweet note and says she’ll do their shopping amid ‘anxiety-filled’ COVID:19 lockdown

Tulisa showed her sweet side by sharing a lovely letter which she had written to her neighbours amid the COVID:19 lockdown.

The coronavirus puts people aged 70 and over at an increased risk, as well as those with underlying health conditions

Worried that her elderly neighbours might struggle to do their shopping, or could feel lonely, she wrote that she would happy to be their ‘personal assistant’.

Kindness: Tulisa offered to be her neighbours’ ‘personal assistant’ with a sweet note as says she’ll do their shopping amid ‘anxiety-filled’ COVID:19 lockdown

The 31-year-old penned: ‘Hey hope you’re well it’s Tulisa here. Just wanted to let you know I am here to help during this stressful time.

‘Even though you’re clearly fit as a fiddle & seem to have more energy than me most days, it’s always better to be safe then sorry [sic].

‘Which is why I’m sure you’ll be avoiding human contact & trips out as much as possible.’

You're not alone: Her note was incredibly thoughtful and she shared it to inspire others to do the same

She continued: ‘Therefore I’d like to offer my services as your new personal assistant. Anything you need from food shopping to chemist trips & prescriptions, it would be my honour to take over from you & help.

‘Please txt or call me & I am more then happy [sic] to go & sort for you for the foreseeable future.

‘I will leave everything at your door so I’m still keeping a distance. But of course, if you feel anxious or lonely during these stressful times or simply on the verge of loosing [sic] the plot as we all are, I am always here to have a chinwag from our balconies also.

She added: 'p.s. you're the only neighbours in the building I'm aware of that may need my help so if there are any other people, please let me know so I can drop them the same note. We'll get through this together and you're not alone!'

‘Lots of love, Tulisa.’

Tulisa also shared the note on social media, perhaps to set a good example and show others what they can do for their community.

She captioned the post with the words: ‘Trying to do my bit right now as I’m sure we all are. I thought this may be a good way to help so I posted this to two of my elderly neighbours tonight.

‘Hopefully it might inspire more of us to do the same. If you know anyone that lives near you that’s vulnerable you could maybe do the same, not just in terms of their essential needs but a phone call or txt too so they don’t feel so isolated if they live alone.

‘This goes for anyone that lives by themselves not just the elderly or vulnerable, Mental health is so important during this time also. Please bare [sic] in mind ….. Make sure you have no symptoms yourself or have been at possible risk of contracting.

‘Wash your hands thoroughly before shopping for others & wear gloves & masks if you can to be extra safe.

‘Don’t touch your face, body or anything you don’t need to while doing the shopping & dropping it off outside their door. Get them to transfer you the money preferably or leave it outside the door once they have the receipt for you to pick up.

‘#loveconquersall #stickingtogether ❤️ p.s. please repost or post in your own words, let’s help the vulnerable. It could have been us & we’d hope the next generation would do the same #protectthevulnerable #protectourplanet.’
