Twist in case of Kathleen Riethmuller who vanished from Sydney’s north after trip to Bunnings

An ex-student of a prestigious $26,000-a-year private school has mysteriously vanished, just days after she put her possessions up for sale on Gumtree.

Kathleen Riethmuller, 28, was last seen on security camera footage while visiting Bunnings Artarmon in Sydney’s north on October 28.

Hours later, Ms Riethmuller’s belongings including her ID, phone and bank cards were found abandoned in a backpack at Lane Cove.

Her family hasn’t heard from her since, sparking a nationwide police hunt for her amid increasing fears for her safety.

Now worried friends have begged Sydneysiders for their help to track down Ms Riethmuller, with her family stranded in Queensland by Covid restrictions.
