The England team’s victory moniker ‘It’s coming home’ is getting a ribbing on social media tonight after a 2-1 loss to France in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Victory for England seemed within grasp after Harry Kane scored an equalising penalty shot in the second half.

But the team failed to regain ground after Olivier Giroud bagged France’s second goal, with two failed penalties before full-time.
