Twitter mocks Donald Trump over Halloween MAGA caps

Donald Trump is selling jack-o’-lantern-inspired ‘Make America Great Again’ hats, and Twitter users can’t stop roasting the first family for creating a bright orange cap to promote a man who has been compared to everything from a Cheeto to a pumpkin.

The $45 ‘MAGA Pumpkin Hat’ features an embroidered jack-o’-lantern on the front and Trump’s infamous campaign slogan on the back. Not only does the site promise that the cap is ‘definitely a treat,’ it is also ‘proudly made in the USA.’

Eric Trump’s wife Lara tweeted a photo of herself modeling the Halloween-themed hat while posed in front of a portrait of her father-in-law on Monday, and thousands of people flocked to the comments section to make fun of the hat — including some famous comedians.

‘You… made a Trump hat… featuring… an orange ghoul? Samantha Bee wrote, while Rosie O’Donnell added: ‘oh lara – brace for the fall its coming honey.’

Although it is unclear if the Trumps are aware that they are playing into one of the longest running jokes about the president, most people couldn’t get over the first family’s perceived lack of self-awareness.

‘Is that supposed to be Trump on the hat bc you were able to capture his unique skin tone exceptionally well,’ Chris Klemens wrote, and Matthew A. Cherry shared a similar sentiment.

‘This hat is surprisingly accurate. An orange monster. Kudos.’ he wrote.

‘A pumpkin #MAGA hat for a pumpkin-headed president,’ a woman named Rachael commented.

And a woman named Toni tweeted: ‘Looks like they used Trump’s face as inspiration! I guess, “anything for a buck” with these people!’

A Twitter user known as ‘kellyskitchen’ wondered if the Trump family was in on the joke, although she didn’t think it was likely.

‘Lol, Omg, that’s too funny,’ she wrote. ‘I wonder if they realize how ridiculous they look. (My guess is they don’t.)

‘Is it a jackass-o-lantern?’ Elan Gale asked, and the Twitter user ‘LittleBlueDot’ questioned if it was a joke.

‘You made an orange MAGA hat?! Is that donald? You all are the least self-aware bunch I’ve ever seen.’

TWITTER REACTS TO PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ‘MAGA PUMPKIN HATS’

‘They made a scary orange face hat! Un-bloody-believable,’ a Twitter user known as ‘ap’ added.

Meanwhile, the Twitter account ‘TriggerTreats’ shared a photo of a butt face costume, writing: ‘No thanks, I’ve already got my @realDonaldTrump costume! #MAGA #MakeHalloweenGreatAgain.

Others were more appalled by the price of the hat, and many went on to question where exactly the proceeds were going.

‘I know $45 already sounds like a steal, but what if I told you that also didn’t include tax or shipping?’ Jason Roader tweeted.

‘How is this anything “MAGA”? Its just a goddamn jack o lantern hat. Y’all MF really milking this BS,’ one Twitter user known as ‘The Dick ‘Em Up Kid’ wrote.

‘Halloween wasn’t great? Where have I been? So buying this hat will make it GREAT again? Where’s the money going to?’ M. Chase wrote.

‘His pockets? Green fees? Overtime for the Secret Service due to weekend golf trips he swore he wouldn’t have time for?’

A Twitter user known as ‘DivaKnevil’ revealed that Lara Trump had blocked her, and she couldn’t resist calling Trump’s daughterin-law a ‘#snowflake’ — and she wasn’t the only one to get blocked on Monday.

Author Jeffrey Guterman was also pleased to reveal that he was also blocked by Lara.

‘Blocked today by @LaraLeaTrump for my critique of her #MAGA pumpkin hat tweet. In the past, I was blocked by her mutant husband @EricTrump and his orange father @realDonaldTrump,’ he tweeted.
