Two barefoot Aboriginal boys vanish after leaving their home in Townsville

Have you seen these children? Desperate search for two barefoot Aboriginal boys, 3 and 5, who both vanished after leaving their home

  • Two young boys disappeared from a house in Townsville on Monday afternoon
  • CCTV caught them wandering off together but no sign of them since
  • Boys wore thongs or bare feet, one shirtless and the other in his school uniform 

A frantic search is underway for two young Aboriginal children who disappeared from their home.

The boys, aged three and five, were last seen at a house on Brett Street in Cranbrook, Townsville, about 5.30pm on Monday.

CCTV caught them walking together along Brett Street towards Ross River after wandering off and they’ve not been seen since.

The older boy was wearing a local school shirt that is read with white sleeves and the younger one wearing blue shorts with no shirt. 

Both boys may be either barefoot or wearing thongs.

Police urged residents along Riverway Drive and those living near Rosslea Golf Course to please check their yards for the children.
