Two-bed house with wall-to-wall trash is one of cheapest homes on market at £50,000

Two-bed house with wall-to-wall trash is one of cheapest homes on market at £50,000… but buyers are warned it will be ‘sold with all contents inside’

  • Two-bed house in Birmingham comes complete with huge piles of rubbish
  • It is the cheapest listed in the city but the advert warns it needs refurbishment
  • Pictures show mounds of waste that almost reach the ceiling in one room

This is one of the cheapest properties on the UK housing market – but prospective buyers could be put off by the wall-to-wall rubbish that comes with it.

The two-bedroom house in Birmingham is being auctioned with a guide price of £50,000 – a steal compared to prices in red hot markets elsewhere in the country.

But pictures show the semi-detached home teeming with trash and all of the contents come with the Quinton property.

Prospective buyers can’t enter the house to view it and whoever purchases the property will have to get rid of the mess and sink thousands of pounds into a refurbishment, Birmingham Live reports.

This is the interior of the semi-detached house that’s on the market for just £50,000 in a Birmingham suburb

With a guide price of £50,000 the property is the cheapest listed in Birmingham. But pictures of the interior could put off prospective buyers before it is auctioned on April 3.

Photos show rubbish piled from wall to wall. An online listing says it is located in a ‘popular’ neighbourhood but is ‘in need of refurbishment’.

The house has a kitchen area, bathroom and separate toilet, a garage, where more rubbish is piled, a driveway and an enclosed garden.

The listing suggests the home would be perfect for families or commuters. It is close to two schools and the M5, and has ‘great’ transport links into the city centre.

But the advert warns that the property will be sold with all of the contents inside. There will be no internal viewings, it adds, meaning prospective buyers will have to rely on the images and the appearance of the home’s exterior.

The listing reads: ‘Opportunity two acquire this two bedroom semi-detached property in need of refurbishment.

‘The property is located in a popular residential area, close to King Edwards and Five Ways schools, Newman University as well as local amenities being nearby.

‘It is also is close to the M5 motorway, a commutable distance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham University and has great transport links into Birmingham city centre.

‘Please note that the property will be sold with contents inside. External viewings only for this lot.’

According to Zoopla, the estimated running costs would be £410 a month if the house sells for £50,000.
