Two escaped bulls face-off in a California neighborhood

Two escaped bulls went head-to-head in a California neighborhood. 

Officers from the Fremont Police Department were called to the 200 block of Castro Lane around 9.30am on Tuesday after receiving reports of a bullfight.  

‘When an active “bullfight” comes out over the radio .. meetings take pause and everyone listens for the next update!’ the department wrote on Facebook.

One bull is then seen stumbling as the other darts off. Fremont police said animal services were called to the scene, but the owner arrived just in time to help

As officers arrived to the scene, they found two bulls staring each other down.

‘Luckily the owner arrived and helped MOOve the two back to their property,’ officers said. 

‪The owner was fined $100 per bull and will be responsible for repairs and damages in the neighborhood.

‘Community members are opening the private property gate, and trespassing to hike in the hills,’ Fremont police said in a tweet. 

‘The owners are good neighbors to the surrounding residents and have been very responsive,’ authorities added.
