Two men locked inside a hallway of a block of flats take to violently kicking down a door in Russia.

They’re most probably drunk.

CCTV footage shows the bizarre incident, which began at 5:30am in Balashikha, a city in western Russia’s Moscow Oblast region.

One man dressed in blue is seen trying to open the door but failing.

When the door’s handle doesn’t work, he starts to kick at it instead.

After a few tries, the man appears to stop for a pee break and is seen relieving himself in the tiny space.

His friend, who is waiting further inside the building, appears as the man in blue tries his strength on the door once more.

He is again defeated.

The pair continue to struggle with the door- as the button to release its magnetic lock is clearly seen on the wall to the right of the handle.

The man in the blue continues to kick and manages to give open the, now badly damaged, door with a tiny crack.

The man rests and a rat is seen coming into the hallway from the other side of the door through the crack.

By 8.16am the man has, possibly slept off some of his booze, attacks the door with renewed vigour.

Two hours and 47 minutes after first trying to open the door, the man finally spots the button and pushes it, opening the door and stepping out into daylight.
