Two NSW suburbs placed on alert after coronavirus is found in sewage

Thousands of people in NSW are put on alert as coronavirus is found in sewage – as students and staff at a Melbourne school are told to isolate after suspected exposure

Urgent health warnings have been issued for NSW – after fragments of coronavirus were found in the wastewater of two suburbs – and in Victoria after a Covid case visited a Melbourne primary school. 

NSW Health announced on Saturday morning that virus fragments were discovered in Allambie Heights, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and in Merimbula, on the NSW South Coast.
