Two taxi drivers caught feuding on Chapel St, Melbourne after jumping the cue

Two taxi drivers were involved in a bizarre clash one of Melbourne’s busiest streets -before one jumped on the cab bonnet as the other drove away. 

The incident was caught on camera on Sunday morning, when two cabbies argued in front of shocked shoppers on Chapel Street. 

It is believed the drivers were feuding because one allegedly jumped the queue while others were waiting for a fare. 

Footage showed the 55-year-old driver standing in front of the cab holding his mobile phone

The elderly man ended up on the car’s bonnet as the the taxi drove down the street while stunned motorists looked on. 

He was able to jump off safely and without any injuries.  

The driver was charged with reckless conduct endangering life. He was granted bail and is due to appear in court next year, Seven News reported.
