Two teenagers charged after vibrators are stolen from a sex shop

Two teenage girls have been charged after $600 worth of sex toys were stolen from an adult super store.

The 19-year-olds are accused of stealing four high-end vibrators from the sex toy shop Libido in Perth’s Northbridge at 12.10am on Sunday.

Police will allege the pair from Wanneroo removed packaging from the vibrators and left the store with the sex toys hidden in their clothing.

The charges come after police released CCTV footage of a group of three girls they believed could help with the investigation.

Two of the girls were charged on Wednesday, both with one count of stealing, a police spokesman said.

They have been issued with a Criminal Code Infringement Notice.

The third girl will not be charged.

Libido owner Garry Smith told Daily Mail Australia four of his best-selling vibrators had been stolen.

One of the vibrators, the Come Hither Rabbit, was valued at $280.

Mr Smith had offered a $50 voucher to anyone who could identify the girls on the CCTV footage.
