Two tourists have been found dead on the street outside a hotel in the Philippines.

Police reportedly found the bodies outside I’M Hotel in Makati City, Manila, about 5am on Friday morning local time.

Reports suggest the two men may have fallen from a balcony onto the road below, near the corner of Makati Avenue and Kalayaan Street.

Reports suggest the two men may have fallen from their balcony and to the road below, near the corner of Makati Avenue and Kalayaan Street

Senior Superintendent Rogelio Simon told INQUIRER.net police are yet to identify the two casualties but they are described as ‘Asian foreign nationals’, allegedly Korean. 

Mr Simon said the bodies were found by an early morning police patrol. 

The incident is reportedly being labelled a ‘falling incident’ by police but investigations are in their early stages.

Police will work to determine what caused the two foreigners to fall.  

I’M Hotel is the first five star hotel built in Makati’s Poblacion region.

The hotel is about 800 metres from the Makati CBD and is closely located to malls and entertainment centres.
