Many parents think their children are brilliant.
But to hear Tyra Banks, 44, tell it, her son York truly is startlingly clever – and is already speaking three languages at the age of two.
‘He speaks Spanish, Norwegian and English,’ said Tyra on the red carpet for Monday’s America’s Got Talent season 13 kick-off, according to People.

York’s father is the hunky Norwegian photographer Erik Asla, whose split from Tyra went public in October of this past year.
Tyra heaped praise on her son, saying at the Los Angeles America’s Got Talent fete: ‘He’s a smart one – but he’s still crazy and and not listening to me most of the time!’
She had said prior: ‘My son is amazing with his colors. He has friends in his classes that are like “re-re-red” and my son is already up to silver and rose and rose gold.’

Tyra continued vaunting her little boy, continuing: ‘And he has been counting to 20 since he was 18 months. So he’s really, really smart.’
The America’s Next Top Model star, who ascended to hostess of America’s Got Talent last year, shared her new show’s compatibility with her personal needs.
‘At first, I was like: “These hours are crazy.” I get home at midnight.

‘But I don’t have to get here until 1 p.m. so that allows me to have an entire morning with my son, whereas if it was an early-morning call and I was getting home at 8 p.m., I wouldn’t have any time with him because I’d be here when he’s getting up and I’d be home when he was asleep.’
The svelte superstar quipped: ‘So at first I was complaining and now I’m like, ‘Hmm, Mr. Simon Cowell … Maybe I can learn some of this with my America’s Next Top Model scheduling.’
York is his mother’s only child, though his father also has a daughter called Tatjana.
