Tyson Fury pulled no punches ahead of his money-spinning trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder, claiming he lives in the American’s head ‘rent free’.

The Gypsy King and his American opponent are set to face off once again at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night, and they got used to their surroundings outside the 20,000-capacity stadium in Nevada.

The pair did not go head-to-head this early in the week, instead posing for separate photos – but Fury was quick to claim that he has the mental edge over his opponent.

‘No matter what Deontay Wilder does I’m still going to knock him the f*** out. In quick time, quick fashion,’ Fury told the media.

Wilder has consistently refused to acknowledge Fury as the WBC champion following his defeat via technical knockout in the seventh round, and merely insists their business is not over.

But Fury added: ‘It just shows you that I’m living in Wilder’s mind, rent free. The whole time, two years.

‘Every time he looks in the mirror he sees Tyson Fury. Every time he goes to bed, before he closes his eyes, he sees the Gypsy King.

‘Every time he wakes up he thinks of Tyson Fury. Even when he goes to bed with his missus, he’s thinking of Tyson Fury.’

Wilder is banking on a new and improved style to get the better of Fury at the third time of asking.

But Fury shrugged: ‘I think you could go to college and get a Masters degree in nearly two years, so for a boxer to change his style is very easy to do.

On Tuesday night, the Brit wore his WBC belt across his shoulder, while Wilder was accompanied by his fiancee Telli Swift.

Fans aplenty turned out to get a glimpse of the boxing giants, with their faces also adorning the side of the stadium four days out from the fight.

Fury in particular seemed in no mood for smiling as he stood in front of the cameras, shortly after telling Sportsmail that he has worked ‘non-stop’ to improve since previously knocking out Wilder 20 months ago.

The pair drew their initial bout at the Staples Center in LA in 2018, with Fury then going on to beat Tom Schwartz and Otto Wallin before knocking out Wilder in February 2020.

The coronavirus pandemic then put a halt to any further bouts, but the highly-anticipated third fight is now upon us this weekend.

Despite Fury’s obvious ability, and the previous KO of Wilder, the Gypsy King is under no illusions about the size of the task this weekend.

‘I never take anyone for granted,’ he told Sportsmail‘s Jeff Powell. ‘Some people are writing Deontay off because I smashed him in seven rounds last time. Not me. He is still my most dangerous opponent. There are some good boxers but with Wilder’s power I know I’m messing with an atomic bomb.

‘If he connects right with just one punch it can be a catastrophe for anyone. Trauma in the ring. I felt it when he put me down in our first fight.

‘You’ve got to have guts to succeed in boxing. Sheer guts. There will be moments when it’s not about how much you get hit but how much you can take. I’ve taken a lot in my life. That’s why I’ve trained for this one like Rocky in the movie.

‘No man could have done more. The toughest possible sparring. Eating nothing but the best foods — vegetables, fruits, fish, meats, vitamins, minerals.’
