Tyson recalls 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets over fears they contain RUBBER

  • Customers complained about finding rubber in Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets 
  • Yesterday, Perdue recalled 16,000 pounds of nuggets over undeclared milk
  • Last week, Perdue recalled 68,000 pounds of nuggets over fears they contain wood chips 

Tyson Foods is recalling more than 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets because they may be contaminated with rubber.

The news comes after two recalls of nuggets from another top brand, Perdue – first 68,000 pounds that may contain wood chips, then 16,000 pounds that may contain undeclared milk. 

The US Agriculture Department says customers complained about finding the material in five-pound packages of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets. 

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The packages have a best if used by date of Nov. 26, 2019 and the case code 3308SDL03. The establishment core P-13556 is inside the USDA inspection mark.

The nuggets should be thrown out or returned to the place of purchase.
