Tziporah Malkah has little sympathy for ex-fiancé James Packer’s weight gain

‘No one was sad for me when I was 120kg!’ Tziporah Malkah expresses little sympathy for ex-fiancé James Packer’s weight struggles as the former 90s model points out sexist views on body image

James Packer’s ex-fiancée Tziporah Malkah (formerly Kate Fischer) has been proudly flaunting her incredible 50kg weight loss.

And while the billionaire appears to be experiencing his own weight struggles, Tziporah has expressed little sympathy for her former lover.

Appearing on Nine’s A Current Affair on Tuesday, the nineties supermodel, 45, said: ‘No one was that sad for me when I blew out to that, Everyone just called me crazy!’

Tziporah revealed she weighed more than 120kg at her heaviest before shedding the pounds.

Tziporah, who was with James from 1993 to 1998, said she became depressed in 2017 when she struggled with her weight.

‘I feel bad for anybody that is going through a mental health struggle, but at the same time let’s not pigeonhole that It’s okay for a man who has a lot of wealth and power (to gain weight), but It’s not okay for a woman who used to be this, but has gone, you know, and is having a bit of a hard trot,’ she said.

What a transformation! Tziporah, who split with James in 1998, said she became depressed in 2017 when she struggled with her weight, and now feels like a new woman at 70kg

It has been eight years since billionaire James had the lap-band surgery that enabled him to lose 35kg, but in recent years he has put the weight back on.

By the end of 2016, following his messy break-up with pop star fiancée Mariah Carey, James apparently tipped the scales at 130kg.

In recent weeks, James has sparked rumours he’s undergone more weight loss surgery after taking a stroll in Los Angeles wearing what appears to be a medical device.

A thin tube was visible underneath the casino mogul’s blue polo shirt as he walked through the grounds of UCLA with his personal trainer in tow.

The Australian billionaire underwent lap band surgery in 2011 and UCLA has a world-renowned obesity treatment centre, but it’s unclear if James is a patient there.

The U.S. university specialises in weight loss techniques for those who have already undergone bariatric surgery.

WHO IS TZIPORAH MALKAH?

Tziporah, formerly known as Kate Fischer, was one of the most in-demand models in Australia in the ’90s and was even engaged to businessman James Packer.

She split with James, now 51, after a two-year engagement in 1998 and later relocated to the U.S., eventually becoming an American citizen.

Upon her return to Australia several years ago, however, she found herself broke, homeless and living in anonymity.

Eventually she found work in aged care in Melbourne, but was thrust back into the headlines in 2016 when unflattering photos of her wearing a bed sheet outside of her house were splashed across the tabloids.

She has since embraced her return to the spotlight, appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and signing with celebrity agent Max Markson.
