‘It’s the power of the mind!’ Tziporah Malkah, 45, credits ‘HYPNOTIC lap band surgery’ for her incredible body transformation – as she confirms she now weighs under 70kg

Tziporah Malkah has made headlines lately for her incredible weight loss journey, dropping more than 50kg in just 18 months.

And the 45-year-old model, formerly known as Kate Fischer, has revealed that a ‘hypnotic lap band’ is the secret to her jaw-dropping transformation.

Speaking to Hughesy & Kate on Thursday, Tziporah confirmed that she now weighs under 70kg after hypnotist Mark Stephens helped ‘train her mind’ to control her diet.

Tziporah, who once tipped the scales at 120kg, decided to shed the kilos after being diagnosed as ‘morbidly obese’ and suffering from weight-related health problems.

When asked how she managed to lose weight, Tziporah replied: ‘There was no magic pill, no surgery, nothing. Unfortunately, I had to sweat puddles and eat light.’

But the ’90s supermodel did get a little help in the form of hypnotherapy, seeking out specialist Mark Stevens who is known for his ‘hypnotic lap band’ technique.

Tziporah revealed that she had tried a surgical lap band more than 10 years ago, but it didn’t help her to lose weight.

‘It didn’t suit me, I had it removed a few years later,’ she said. ‘It made me feel sick.’

She explained that the hypnotic lap band has helped her to ‘not feel hungry’, adding: ‘It’s the power of the mind, the mind is an incredible thing.’

Mark joined Tziporah for the radio interview, telling Hughesy & Kate that the hypnotic lap band works for 70 per cent of people wanting to lose weight.

The technique apparently helps the patient form new attitudes towards food.

The process begins with Mark putting the patient into a relaxed state before getting them to imagine physically having lap band surgery.

He then makes ‘lots of suggestions’ during the hypnotherapy process about eating small, healthy meals, drinking more water and exercising.

‘Those thoughts stick into the mind,’ he added.

Jungle diet: Tziporah’s stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kick-started her weight loss journey after she managed to shed 12kg during filming because of her reduced diet

Tziporah’s weight struggles saw her hide away from the public eye for several years, before she returned to the spotlight on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2017.

Her stint in the South African jungle kick-started her weight loss journey after she managed to shed 12kg during filming because of her reduced diet.

While a foot injury saw her put the weight back on, by January 2019 Tziporah had managed to lose an impressive 30kg.

This month, she reached her target weight of 70kg and is continuing to slim down.
