An Uber driver who allegedly raped a teenager after dropping off her two friends has been charged.
The 37-year-old ride-share driver picked up the 17-year-old female and her two friends at 1.30am on Sunday from the city to drop them off in Bondi, east of Sydney.
After dropping off the teenager’s friends home, the man drove the young woman to an address in north Bondi.

It is alleged he sexually assaulted her in his vehicle.
She reported the rape to officers at the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command.
On Monday, officers arrested the driver at a Liverpool address and took him to the police station where they charged him with sexual intercourse without consent.
He was released on conditional bail and is not allowed to operate as a ride-share service driver.
He will appear in Liverpool Local Court on October 25.
