UFC Flyweight Tim Elliott infuriated as promotion deny his family tickets just HOURS before fight

‘It would have been nice to know before flying people to Vegas!’: UFC Flyweight Tim Elliott left infuriated as promotion deny his family tickets to watch him fight just HOURS before squaring off against Victor Altamirano

  • The UFC withheld all comp tickets for UFC on ESPN 46 at the Apex, Las Vegas
  • Tim Elliott would go on to win his fight via unanimous decision

Flyweight contender Tim Elliott claims the UFC refused comp tickets for his family just hours before he took to the cage against Victor Altamirano on Saturday night.

The 36-year-old had several family members fly out to Las Vegas for the UFC on ESPN 46 main card bout at the Apex, only to find out that the promotion was withholding any and all comp tickets.

In a furious now-deleted tweet, Elliott reacted to the news: ‘Like fighting at the apex isn’t bad enough, now we don’t get our comp tickets for our family.

‘Literally the only support the fighters can get in this building is taken away! It would have been nice to know before flying people to Vegas.’

When challenged on why he didn’t reserve seats ahead of the card, he later added: ‘I’ve gotten 4 tickets to every fight since 2012, why would I ask for something that’s always been a given?’

Elliott would go on to win the fight via unanimous decision but did so without his family watching on from cageside.

The latest disappointment caps off what has been an extremely difficult couple of months for the former Titan FC flyweight champion.

Elliott is currently in the midst of a divorce from ex-UFC fighter Gina Mazany, who he recently publicly accused of cheating on him with one of his team mates.

The No11 ranked 125lber uploaded a picture to social media of his former partner alongside his daughter from a previous relationship and Kevin Croom, who was released by the UFC last year.

Elliott captioned the post: ‘You want to see something gross? This is my ‘wife’ reading vows to my daughter on our “wedding” night!

‘The guy holding the microphone was my ‘friend/teammate’ my wife cheated on me with this guy the same night! and they have had a relationship our entire “marriage” Gina mazany’
