Ukrainian dwarf Natalia Grace slams her adoptive parents as ‘liars’ in a new tell-all interview, as she says she ‘didn’t get the chance’ to tell her side of the bizarre story.
Natalia sat down for an explosive follow up to the new documentary from ID, ‘The Curious Case of Natalia Grace’, where her adoptive parents claim she was an adult ‘sociopath’ masquerading as a child.
But the dwarf has hit back against the claims, with a trailer for the sequel series opening with her saying: ‘The things that Michael says I have done, is a lie.’
Natalia has been the subject of fervent debate over her true age, with a legal expert recently calling for her case to be revisited a decade after her age was dubiously changed in court.

The first installment of the disturbing documentary portrays Natalia’s adoptive mother Kristine Barnett as an allegedly abusive and threatening individual.
And in a sneak-peek at her sensational sit-down interview, Natalia also hits out at Kristine, saying: ‘She was trying to make it seem like I was just this big crazy person.’
‘That’s not true,’ she adds. ‘I want to tell people what really happened, because I didn’t get that chance.’
Natalia was accused by her adoptive parents of conning her way into their family when they adopted her in April 2010.
Feeling that she was secretly an adult pretending to be a six-year-old orphan, the Indiana family claims they suspected she was far older than first thought on one of the first nights they spent together.
While giving Natalia a bath after spending the day at Disneyland, he said Kristine let out a blood-curdling scream from the bathroom when she noticed the girl they thought was just six had ‘full pubic hair’.
In the months after, the couple allege that there was ‘a lot of escalation’. This included discovering she had been hiding her period from them for months.

The Barnetts were charged with neglecting their child after eventually ditching Natalia and moving to Canada after they petitioned a court to move her birth year back 14 years, which was granted. In October 2022 and March 2023, their charges were dropped
A series of disturbing allegations are made about Natalia throughout the series, including claims she loomed over her new family’s beds with knives and tried to poison their coffee.
On one occasion, when Natalia met another six-year-old with a rare bone disorder named spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, the stark difference in age became seemingly undisputable.
Natalia, who did not speak with a Ukrainian accent, towered over her playmate, while her bone structure and vocabulary were far more advanced.
As the months wore on, Michael claimed it became apparent they were living with a menace, to the point she ‘threatened to stab’ her new siblings.
‘She tried to poison and kill my wife,’ Michael added. ‘(And) one night, I opened my eyes and Natalia is standing at the foot of the bed with a knife in her hand.’
In never-before-seen footage, the documentary shows Natalia’s suspect behavior inside her adoptive home, including sitting at a table reading the bible. When asked why she chose to read it, she responds: ‘To get rid of these evil thoughts.’
‘She would do as much as possible to cause hurt or harm or mental distress to the entire family,’ Michael said.

Natalia’s latest insistence that the Barnett’s lied about her age and behavior comes four years after she made the same claims in an appearance on Dr Phil.
She broke down in tears while discussing the allegations against her.
Her new parents, Cynthia and Anton Mans, also defender her on the show, feeling she was a ‘genuine loving girl’ and not an ‘adult sociopath masquerading as a child’.
The Curious Case of Natalia Grace premiered May 28 and can be streamed on Max and Discovery+.
