Australians can fly from Melbourne to Los Angeles return for just $662 on United Airlines’ flash sale.
Flights from Sydney to LA will set passengers back a few extra dollars, with return fares costing $678.
The airline is also offering budget tickets to San Francisco, for just $670 from Melbourne or $687 from Sydney, with a short stopover in LA.

Travellers wanting to escape Australian winter can take advantage of the cheap flights available between March and November 2020.
I Know The Pilot founder Garth Adams urged customers to book as soon as possible, predicting the prices will only last a few days.
‘I think this is the cheapest I have ever seen for flights to LA,’ he told Escape.
