Upset customer, 50, smacks Wendy’s cashier with a HAMBURGER after employee gets her order wrong

  • She  threw a fit where she yelled, swore, and hit the employee with the burger
  • She also allegedly hit another customer in her rampage as well
  • She was charged with second-degree breach of peace for her disturbance
  • Police said she was emotional from recently putting her dog down  

A Connecticut woman angrily smacked a Wendy’s cashier with her burger after a server mishandled her order.

Holly Bartolotta, 50, of New Britain was arrested on Friday after she allegedly hit the fast food chain employee with her sandwich.

She has been charged with second-degree breach of peace for her disturbance, according to the CT Post.

She allegedly yelled, swore and threw the sandwich at the server causing a disturbance at the restaurant along with another person she knew.

The incident unfolded at the Wendy’s located on Route 66 on Washington Street.

Police said Bartolotta became angry after the employee got her burger wrong, inciting her wrath. 

She also allegedly hit another customer during her fit.   

Bartolotta told police that she was upset about the mistake but also with how the Wendy’s employees tried to resolve the issue. 

The police report added that she had recently had to put her dog down and was still emotional about it. 

She was issued a summons to return to Middletown Superior Court on June 15.
