Thousands of popular children’s bath robes and pyjamas have been recalled for not meeting fire safety regulations.

Parents were urged to return their Sweet & Soft pyjamas and bathrobes, which have been on sale for more than a year, immediately.

The clothes do not have the fire hazard information label required by mandatory Australian standards, so parents don’t have the information they need.

‘Parents and carers may not be aware of the fire hazard, which may pose a potential fire risk to the wearer,’ the ACCC recall stated.

The affected pyjamas were on sale between June 1, 2017, and March 24, 2019, and the bath robes March 7, 2018, to March 13, 2018.

Customers were told to stop using the products and contact seller Ozsale to receive a full refund and $20 credit for the online store.
