A recall notice stated the frills on the top did not comply with the requirements of the mandatory standard Consumer Goods (Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear and Paper Patterns for Children’s Nightwear) Safety Standard 2017.
The pyjamas were sold in Big W nationally from January 2, 2019, to March 7, 2019.
This is the second recall from Australian chain Big W in two months.
Just last month, an urgent recall was made for baby coveralls sold at Big W stores over fears they were also a fire hazard.
The department store issued the recall notice on Thursday for infants clothing, size 0000-1, which featured the slogan ‘That’s Not My ….’.
The warning sparked concerns the items are missing crucial fire hazard information.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Big W for comment.
Customers with the set should immediately cease using the garments and return it to any BIG W store for a full refund (stock image)
